Mr. Garg graduated from Florida State University in 2005 with a degree in Sports Management and Political Science. He graduated law school with a Sports Law certification in 2008. As part of the certification, he worked at NC State University’s Athletic Department.
Following law school, Mr. Garg moved to Denver, Colorado and practiced law there for 7 years. In Denver, Mr. Garg tried a multitude of cases including real estate quiet title actions, intellectual property infringement lawsuits and prepared bankruptcy petitions for debtors. He also helped small to medium size businesses deal with complex tax, franchising, and fund raising issues.
Mr. Garg left Denver and moved to Washington State in 2016 and has been practicing law in Washington since. While based out of Seattle and King County, Mr. Garg has traveled all over the State to handle various real estate and business law matters. This includes arguing land use petitions, challenging code enforcement, and handling various administrative matters against local, state, and federal governing bodies. Mr. Garg has also handled employment matters from simple wage or benefits issues to complicated discrimination lawsuits.
Mr. Garg has been instrumental in helping small businesses operate. He has helped incorporate various businesses, filed and defended trademarks and copyrights, as well as drafted any necessary documents needed for their day to day operations, including business and employment contracts, operating agreements, bylaws, and employee handbooks.
Additionally, Mr. Garg is a veteran and served in the United States Marines for six years. His time in the military has taught him to work well under pressure and constantly strive to improve his skills.
